Charity Commission

The Charity Commission is the government body which administers and oversees charities in England. All English charities are registered with the CC and all title deeds to properties held in trust by charities are held by the CC. If changes are to be made to the Trust Deeds, these changes must be agreed by the CC and if any charity is failing and is to be wound up, this is done through the CC.
